Disable translation of Gettext strings

Strings outputted by WordPress themes or plugins are called Gettext strings. Translating these types of strings through TranslatePress can be unnecessary if they are already translated or you plan to translate them using the .po/.mo translation file system. So, you might want to disable their translation.

Disabling this feature of TranslatePress can improve the page load performance of your site in some instances.

All you have to do in order to disable the translation of Gettext strings is to go to TranslatePress Advanced Settings, Debug, and check the checkbox Disable translation for gettext strings.

Now, the gettext strings will not be translatable from the translation editor and WordPress automatic translations will do their translation.
